Well the good news is we didn't get any snow on Sunday, just flurries. This morning was pretty cold though, only 18 degrees. Brrr!

Hoping for some warmer weather this weekend. I need to lay down some epoxy primer and it requires 60 degrees for curing. Something tells me I'll be breaking out the propane heater.
Someday I'll finally be able to drive my Vette, but for now I'll just admire all the pieces... :willy:

Tim,

not sure where your house heater is, if it is in the garage you can tap into the supply air duct and put a diffusor in the garage.

not sure it I would want an open flame where I was painting :willy:

I have forced hot water heat, no forced air, so unfortunately that won't work. I have a salamander-style propane heater I use but, with 10' high ceilings the heat just goes up top and the concrete slab radiates cold. I'm thinking about building myself a smaller "work hut" in the garage using some poly and a few 2x4's. Maybe something 10'x10' with 7-8' ceilings. That will allow me to heat a smaller area, stay warm and, hopefully, get some stuff done this winter.

I haven't told my wife she may need to park outside as a result though. Any volunteers? :willy:

What a cold flipping weekend. :ack: We had hail :willy: :willy: :willy:

Okinawa sets cold records across island Sunday

Due to strong cold air mass flowing from Siberia over all of Japan including Okinawa, sleet was observed in Nago City and Kume Island, Sunday. This was the first time sleet has been observed raining on Kume Island since Feb. 17th, 1977 39 years ago.

Okinawa main island experienced the second lowest temperatures in the recorded history with 3.1 degrees centigrade measured in Oku, Kunigami Village, on Sunday evening.

On Kume Island, the lowest temperature ever on the island was recorded Sunday at 21:15 when the temperature plunged to 5.2 degrees centigrade.

14 out of 28 meteorological observation points on the island set new lowest temperature records. In addition to sleet in the northern part of the island, occasional hail was observed across the island.
