Cleaning the garage...

I hope that I am asking this in the right location.
After sanding fiberglass and then sanding the repair patch down how do you guys clean the dust out of your garages? Same goes for the sanding of Slick Sand and Vette panel adhesive.
When I am working I use a fan blowing that crap out, or attempting to blow it out. I want to use a leaf blower but if it isn’t bolted down it will blow out all of the small parts and any thing that is light. I think that I am going to have to empty the garage and do this dreaded operation. Will a hose with a shower head work on the walls? My garage is a disaster area, any ideas.

I use an 8" manhole fan @ 1,500 CFM with duct when doing dusty work. All dirt goes outside.

My walls are stained plywood so cleaning is easy. Not much help.

Don't know. I use the leaf blower!

It looks as if the leaf blower is the unfortunate way that I will be going.Paint suit, hood, gloves and the respirator along with earplugs for the noise.I will look like Pigpen from the Peanuts comic strip in a cloud of dust. When I start doing this it more than likely be "so that's where I put that, now I have two of them !!!" I didn't think that it was that bad until I pulled out the pressure washer the other day and had to blow the dust off of it before I used it. That crap is everywhere.

I'm like Bob - I break out the leaf blower. Works great!. Just open all the windows and doors and you'll be fine.

I went to Horrible Freight yesterday and bought a $50 -20%=$40 electric one yesterday. At least it will be a little quieter.

Depending on how much of a mess I've made sometimes I just use the air wand from my compressor. But, when I really make a mess, and I really want to make quick work of it, nothing beats the leaf blower!

And Vito, for the record, I'll admit that I've cleared snow with a leaf blower before. They make quick work of the really light and fluffy stuff!
