Tell us about your Corvette: 1974 base model. Mostly original but far from perfect. Been working on it for better part of 7 years. Body has been removed from chassis, chassis repaired and restored. Working on the mechanicals of the chassis as time/money allows.
I'm right there with you Tim. I used to live in Cleveland where it snows sidways. I moved to SoCal a little over 11 years ago. The wife and I both agree that we no longer want anything to do with cold whether or snow unless we are looking at it on a postcard. Lol!
Well it looks like our cold and snowy snap ended. I left on the 15th with the family for a cruise out of San Juan and arrived back home late last night to find that much of the snow melted while we were away. Apparently it was in the 40's and 50's while we were away. That's pretty warm for February around these parts. The forecast is for above average temperatures for the next week or so - warm enough that I might even be able to get sometime productive done in the garage next week. Fingers crossed!
After spending a week in warm 80 degree weather I'm really ready for spring - it was great wearing shorts and t-shirts again!
Someday I'll finally be able to drive my Vette, but for now I'll just admire all the pieces...
