Okay I had enough of winter. My wish list. #1. go spring

How are the rest of you doing? I know Paul is Spokane Wa is freezing.

Got 6 more inches of snow on Wednesday with temps in the single digits just prior to that. Since then it warmed up quite a bit and we've had rain so most (practically all) of the snow has melted except for the berms along the streets. Actually hit the upper 40s today. Unfortunately, I don't think winter is quite done with us just yet. If I wasn't studying for upcoming training on a different aircraft, I'd have been out "tinkering" with BIGBLU while the garage didn't feel like a deep freezer ...

Wait a minute --- if you are in Washington State and log onto a forum in Maine, the entry you woud make from Washington State would be on the computer located in Maine, which is 4 hours ahead of you, so if it was 3:41 in Maine, it would only be be 23:41 in Washington, right?

That's almost right Bob. However, it's only 3 hours difference from the west coast to the east coast. It was after midnight when I posted, just prior to going to bed...

Man Paul, your a lot more of a night owl than I am! I haven't seen 3 a.m. in a VERY long time!

The weather up here in Maine hasn't been so great. It's a balmy 26 out right now, but only because it's snowing to beat the band out. We're supposed to get a good 4-8" followed by up to a 1/2" of freezing rain. Hopefully we keep power given that temps are supposed to dip to well below zero later in the week. Brr... Leaving for Disneyworld with April and the kids soon though. Hopefully it'll be warm down there.

That sucking sound I hear must be the level of my oil tank dropping as the furnace keeps kicking on. With heating oil nearly $3/gal my next fill up is going to be painful!!!

When are you going to Orlando? We just went through a bad cold snap, but right now it's back to short sleeve shirt weather. There is the NCRS Winter National Car SHow in Old Town, Kissimme from Jan 26-29th (Wed thru Sat). One of the best all original Corvette car shows in Florida. They also have a swap meet that covers several acres of old Corvette parts as well.

We'll be arriving on the 29th, but I'm guessing that won't leave enough time to find the NCRS show and actually have time to enjoy it. Who knows, we may make it though. We'll be driving so maybe we'll push a bit harder on the way down and find ourselves with a bit of extra time before check-in.

We don't expect to be making out toward Tampa, but we'll have fun at the parks for you!

Hoping for warm weather!!!

P.S. - I wonder if I can convince the house-sitter to sand some fiberglass on the Vette while we're gone.

The whole area encompases Old Town and the show. Really hope you get to see it. Hundreds of Corvettes. Our Club is going to be there Friday and Saturday. We will be staying at the Days Inn right smack in front of Old Town.

Who knows we may try to make it. We'll be staying over at Vistana so it's only about a mile from where we're staying. Do they typically pack up early on Sunday, or do folks pretty much stick it out until the end? I know a lot of shows around here many folks pack up and leave a bit early on the last day of a multi-day show.
