Looking good. With some good heat and a putty knife you should be able to scrape the excess bonding compound from the bonding strips/areas.

Just came in from garage. It's hard work. Lots of seam sealer there to. Scraping up my knuckles like crazy. Actually I'm not sure I did a good job. If you look at the bonding strip above the tire I think I may have removed some of it by accident. I still have more to clean there so hopefully I didn't ruin it.

My bonding strips don't look anywhere as clean as yours.

After removing the panel I found that a bit of the fiberglass from the panel sometimes stayed behind. Also, a bunch of bonding compound is typically left behind. I cleaned up the bonding strip by heating it with a heat gun and then scraping it clean with a steel putty knife. Worked pretty good for me.
