It looks to me that one of your bezels is completely missing the tapered spacer on the back side. If you look at the picture Vito posted on the other thread in the General section, it appears that both of his bezels have spacers of the same height on the backside. I'm at a loss as to how or why yours are different, but I don't think all is lost. If you can't find a correct set of bezels of the same height, perhaps you could find at least one with a similar spacer and cut that off and attach it to the back of your "thin" bezel. Failing that, perhaps a rubber stopper (think from a chemistry flask) could be modified and attached to the back of the bezel to get the proper height/depth. Not a perfect solution but at least it wouldn't be visible...
