Now I can actually fit another car in the garage
Well, speaking about fitting another car in the garage, we really can't, but we just made the decision to get ANOTHER Corvette.

A friend of ours in our Corvette Club is getting up in age and he and his wife are getting a bit on the frail side, and they decided they can't drive their Corvette any more and want to sell it and get a car they can get in and out of. Soooo, we are buying it from them.

With this car added to our others, we will now have a C2 (1965), a C3 (1968), a C4 (1995) and a C5 (2001). :Hurray:

The C5 is a coupe, with a 350 ci, 385 hp LS1 engine with a 4 speed automatic. It is "Magnetic Red" with a Black and Light Oak interior, has the removable Targa top and comes with two tops, one red and the other transparent smoked black. It has every option there was available in the year it was made, including power windows, power seats, power telescopic steering column, power mirrors, equipment settings memory system, A/C, Heads Up Display, competition handling packing, performance engine package, factory fog lights, new wheels and tires, and more other things than I can remember. Ed is the original owner, it has always been garage kept, only has 23,000 miles and we bought it for $15K.

Most likely will be selling the C4, as we don't need 4 Corvettes! The C2 will be our "Saturday Night Cruiser", the C5 will be our touring Corvette, as it is the most comfortable, quiet and roomy Corvette of the four, and the C3 will be a dedicated show car.

We pick it up Saturday. More photos when we get it home and clean it up, not that it needs much cleaning!

Guess I now need to work for 2 more months to pay for it!
