Any tips for painting interior pieces?

Post by MaineVette » Jan 26th, 2015 11:10 pm

Hey guys,

I'm starting the process of cleaning and painting my interior trim pieces. One item I'm worried about is getting all the silicone off so I don't end up with fisheye everywhere.

Anyone have tips or suggestions for how to go about this? Any recommended products to use for paint? I want to be sure whatever I use is durable.

The only things that won't be painted will be the seat covers, seat belts and carpet. Those will be replaced.
Someday I'll finally be able to drive my Vette, but for now I'll just admire all the pieces... :willy:
