So ran into a hiccup with the 72 that involved attorneys and guns. Needless to say I no longer have the 72 I washed my hands of the problem. I now have an 82 that had the crossfire intake removed and a carb placed on.
I've recently separated the top from the bottom.

Hiked up in the air

The 82 on the body dolly. I need to life her one more time to provide a little clearance underneath to srub the bottom.

Coming back to the forum. I did end up doing the frame first. I also am nearing the rolling chassis milestone. Currently working on those pesky rear trailing arms. Will post some up dated pics of the chassis soon.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Real bummer about you other Vette!

I have just one question, I cannot see any support in your photos for the nose of the car. If it doesn't have any, it needs some. I realize the #1(2) body mounts are at the firewall where you have support, but the nose weight is supported by the frame via the radiator support. I would hate to see some stress cracking start if the nose is not supported for a long time.

Glad to hear your making some progress. I had a lot of fun building my chassis. It was dirty work but it came together pretty good and you can really see your progress at the end of each day.
