- Tell us about your Corvette: 1971 Coupe that's been in the family since new. Was "stored" in a shed in New England for22 years. Even though I have limited knowledge and experience, I'm doing a body off restoration. Standby for many questions!

Whoo Hoo! The garage is is pretty much finished and I'm finally going to start my '71 resto project. I have Nolan Adams' plans for a body dolly (same ones Tim used) and was wondering how high your dollies put your bodies and whether you find that height comfortable to work with. My casters are 6" tall and the plans' upright length of 14" would place the lower edge of the body 20" off the floor. This seems a bit low to me. I'm planning to lengthen my uprights at least 4" which would put the body 24" off the floor.
What do you all think? If you had it to do over again, how high would you prefer it?
