Hello from Northwest Indiana

Hello there! I'm new and just got my first vette, and first restore. I'm planning on doing the interior work myself and having body/motor rebuilt by pros. It's a 1981 t-top. She is in very rough condition, I'm going to have to replace everything in the interior. Any suggestions where to start. I'm thinking doing the carpeting first then seats doors and dash for last.
Who should I use to buy carpeting etc? I would like to know who has the best fit with little to no trimming. Thanks for the help and I'm sure I'll have a million more questions as I go along.

Hello to the forum.

Carpets from Willcox. They have worked with their vendor to make the carpets fit good.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

I haven't installed the new interior on my project car yet so I can't say first hand who sells the best materials in terms of fit and finish. I'd certainly be interested to hear how it goes for you though.

In terms of sequence, the approach you outlined seems reasonable.
