Some pic's for you:
In the early 80’s the car was owned by the Dallas Texas based company “104 Octane Boost” Octane Boost Corporation. I was able to locate one of the corporations’ owners and he gave me the spiel on the car as he knew it. They purchased this 427-390hp and sent it to a local race shop and had it built to the 1969 L88 “LO” production number 427-cid 430-hp V-8 with 12.0:1 compression ratio, manual transmission, with four-barrel carburetor. They changed the interior from the base ZQ4 Vinyl RPO to a leather interior, they also re-sprayed the car from 980 Riverside Gold to 974 Monza red. They used the car to test and promote their products till an inexperienced driver crashed in the front doing, get this, $5,800 in damage. Octane Boost Corporation insurance company wrote off the car because the repairs were more than the car was worth.nwav8tor wrote:welcome! If it hasn't seen a paved road in so long, what has it seen? Have you been off-roading it in the wooda or on farm trails? Just Kidding! Was it stored or just left to sit? It doesn't look to be in too bad shape. How's the frame and birdcage?
