- Tell us about your Corvette: 1969 L68 4sp Corvette
- Location: Australian Capital Territory
Just thought I'd introduce myself and say hello. My name is Will and I am from Down Under. I've see a few members here from Oz as well, so that's good to see . Well, I don't quite have a Vette just yet. Meaning...it is currently safely tucked away in a container on a ship somewhere. It's black 1969 4sp 427-400hp tri-power beast. It is driveable, but as with all such cars of this ilk, needs a little work. Which is great. I very impressed and inspired by the Corvette Restoration website, so I feel as though most work won't be too difficult with careful planning and preparation.
First on my list of things to do will be to overhaul the brakes and rebuild the carbs, replace oil + filers, air filter, fresh radiator coolant, etc etc you all know the drill...I plan on driving the car for about 12 months (gotta enjoy it a little first) before taking it off road in earnest to restore it. I will endeavour to post some photo's later.
Cheers for now
