Can anyone tell me how to remove the windshield trim on a 65 vette?
Bob, any thoughts? I'm familiar with how to do this on a C3, but not on a C2.

Re: Hi from Austin, Texas

Yes, that's true. Have learned a lot from my project. Now have plenty of time since I retired in 2016. My 2 car attached garage accommodates all of the parts to this thing. The chassis, the engine and the transmission are done and ready to become a rolling chassis. The body remains to be attended w...

Re: Rear deck lip rebuild

I would rebuild it with fiberglass. The 3M 5885 is good for bonding pieces but it sands really hard and tends to sag before it fully cures if it's applied in a thick layer. I believe the fiberglass would make for a better structural panel and be easier to finish.

Re: '65 Coupe Resto-Mod and '68 Full Custom Restoration

I was hoping that all the fiberglass work on the car was now complete, but it looks like I will be grinding out that area and glassing over the 6" x 8" hole where the vent door was. I don't need the vent opening anyway, as the vent door cannot be re-installed due to the extensive damage to the vent...

Hi Jack,

I've tried working out why your photos aren't displaying but no luck yet. I suspect the upload feature got goofed up when I had to recover my forum this summer. I'll let you know when I get it resolved.

Re: Hi from Northern Kentucky

Howdy, and welcome to the forum. 1000+ HP - yikes! Not to shabby for a motor built by a teenager. I'll be interested to hear/see how you get all of that power down to the ground! :willy: Unfortunately I'm not able to see the photos you've posted. Can anyone else see them? Looks like I'll have...

Re: Radiator recomendations

Everyone always says Dewitt Radiators are the best, never heard anything bad said about them (other than they cost too much). They fit exactly as an OEM radiator would. I went with a less expensive Champion Radiator. It cost me several hundred dollars less but did require some modifications to my ho...
