My corvette body with the doors removed, top removed, interior removed and front clip (tilt nose) removed weighs in at about 300#. 4 men lifted the body off of my car trailer and carried it into my garage.

Back to your original question, if you are still wondering. I have a full custom 68 vette with the antennea mounted under the rear body. Radio does not sound any different at all. This will work, if you still do not want any antennea to show.
