Are you building a 4-5 car garage with a kitchen, bedroom and bath attached? LOL

Re: '65 Coupe Resto-Mod and '68 Full Custom Restoration

Now I can actually fit another car in the garage  Well, speaking about fitting another car in the garage, we really can't, but we just made the decision to get ANOTHER Corvette. A friend of ours in our Corvette Club is getting up in age and he and his wife are getting a bit on the f...

Re: rear differential cross member bushings

Vette Brakes and Products sells them, but they don't come cheap. $160 each! Or maybe it's for the pair - it's not really clear. Either way it's a lot of money for a hunk of rubber. :willy: http://www.vbandp.com/auto-parts.html?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage-ask.tpl&product_id=526&categor...

Re: '65 Coupe Resto-Mod and '68 Full Custom Restoration

Boy am I PI$$ED! There is a very small metal bracket, about the size of paper clip which is riveted to the drivers door window frame, and is part of the hinge for the vent window. Here is an internet photo of the part: dr-352_69.jpg Here is where it goes in the window: Vent Hinge 09-59a_5.jpg instal...

Re: Corvette Generation - HELP

I do know them and I bought some brake lines for our '95 corvette from them, used. Ours rusted through and I could not find new ones anywhere, and they were one of the few that had any at all. They are a small Corvette parts shop with a heck of a lot of used inventory for C3 & C4 Corvettes. You get ...

Re: '65 Coupe Resto-Mod and '68 Full Custom Restoration

Well, I guess I get to post the first post of the new year! Happy New Year to everyone, and hope it is a productive Corvette Restoration year! I don't know about everywhere else, but here in St. Pete Florida, we had a week of incredible weather. Made it into the high 70's and even the low 80's almos...

Re: '65 Coupe Resto-Mod and '68 Full Custom Restoration

Well, a different type of progress was completed last week. With the '65 Corvette occupying my garage, the '68 has been living in my car trailer. When my father passed, I inherited his manufactured home and the lot that it sits on. Mostly using it for storage and a place for my brothers who live up ...

Re: windshield trim removal

Here is a site that shows how to remove the trim. It uses a similar tool. Both tools slide between the windshield and the trim to release the molding clip in the same way, just the handles are different. http://www.stl-vettes.com/65Vette/windshield/windshield.htm It includes a somewhat simple video,...
