fuel tank cover?

Did you reuse this fuel tank cover from the original? Or get an aftermarket one? Discovered mine was cracked up, so don't want to reuse, but can't find one in the aftermarket. OK not to use at all you think? Thanks! http://i760.photobucket.com/albums/xx250/mndshp/fueltankcover_zps60be08c5.j...

Re: Lift Off! My 1972 Resto-Mod Begins

 And it's getting spent fast now! Blog update to come but parts have been ordered, some have arrived already, and in touch with GTR1999 for my trailing arm and rear diff needs. On the fast track for a rolling chassis in a few months? Ambitious though...

Re: Lift Off! My 1972 Resto-Mod Begins

Just had them do the frame and the cross member the gas tank straps to. The rear differential cross member still had the bushings in (but they are out now) so it wasn't ready and still making up my mind on suspension... there is a possibility I might go aftermarket A-arms, etc. Time to decide!

Re: Bodywork question

:lurk: I've got a lot to learn in all areas of this endeavor and bodywork/paint is one that intimidates me some!

Re: Lift Off! My 1972 Resto-Mod Begins

Frame is back from media blasting and powder coating... need to makeup my mind on the suspension and start bolting some parts back on!
