1) How did it get bent? before I took the LCA's apart the bushing sat flush on the control arm ends and control arm shaft. I used a bearing press to put the new bushing in and probably when down too far, must of bent it. The inner sleeve of the bushing will not go down any farther on the control arm...

I already have the LCA completely disassembled, tried the method you mentioned but looks like I need more force to bend it back. for example I secured the LCA in my vised, used the wood block and tried to hammer it back. used a one pound hammer but looks like I need something heavier. thanks!!! hi everyone, just joined the site and have been follower for a while.
Bought a 68 L71 coupe about 2 years ago and started the restoration, but between work and a baby it's been slow "emphasis on slow". this site has been a great help!!! Joe
