I went to Horrible Freight yesterday and bought a $50 -20%=$40 electric one yesterday. At least it will be a little quieter.

It looks as if the leaf blower is the unfortunate way that I will be going.Paint suit, hood, gloves and the respirator along with earplugs for the noise.I will look like Pigpen from the Peanuts comic strip in a cloud of dust. When I start doing this it more than likely be "so that's where I put that...

I hope that I am asking this in the right location. After sanding fiberglass and then sanding the repair patch down how do you guys clean the dust out of your garages? Same goes for the sanding of Slick Sand and Vette panel adhesive. When I am working I use a fan blowing that crap out, or attempting...

Bob, fun isn't it. Don't forget the anti squeak pads between the straps and the tank. All they are is 2" wide strips of roofing paper.

I'm a Tin-Can sailor. Way back when, I could fit through the port hole to the galley. Great for 0200 snacks when on watch. Might be a tight fit now, but I would give it a shot.
