Re: Corvette-Restoration.com Problems

Ugh, I checked that the front page was working but didn't check the other pages. In any case, I think (emphasis on THINK) everything should be fine now. If anyone notices other issues please let me know. On the bright side, we have two new forum members as a result of my sub-par web management. LOL ...

Re: Corvette-Restoration.com Problems

Sorry guys, I've been mostly MIA lately due to some big deadlines at work. The site should be back up and running now. Thanks for looking out for me!

Glad to see others are at least still using the site (even if I haven't updated in a while)!

Re: Berrrrr. Thats cold

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Hope you all have a great turkey day! Winter has apparently arrived in full force this year. We've had two snow storms in the past week, totaling about a foot of snow. High temps today were in the teens. Here's the current temp - the wind chill is pretty brutal. I think ...

Re: '65 Coupe Resto-Mod and '68 Full Custom Restoration

Hey Bob, Just got caught up on all of your posts. It sounds like it was the pretty typical mix of ups and downs. :D Regardless if you had the car fully painted or not, you at least made some forward progress. As I near the point you're at now what makes me the most nervous is having an expe...

Re: '65 Coupe Resto-Mod and '68 Full Custom Restoration

The problem I spent all morning trying to overcome was how to unload the car in a controlled manner down the ramp, as there was only the wife and myself. I was afraid it could get away from us going down the ramp and hit something. I felt really stupid when I realized the car was already equipped w...

Re: '65 Coupe Resto-Mod and '68 Full Custom Restoration

Kind of a new twist in things though, we have been debating on selling our '95 Corvette for a while now, and it looks like that may happen soon. A friend of ours in our Corvette Club is planning on selling their 2001 Corvette coupe and replacing it soon, and I told him we are interested. Totally go...

Can anyone tell me how to remove the windshield trim on a 65 vette?
Bob, any thoughts? I'm familiar with how to do this on a C3, but not on a C2.

Re: Hi from Austin, Texas

Yes, that's true. Have learned a lot from my project. Now have plenty of time since I retired in 2016. My 2 car attached garage accommodates all of the parts to this thing. The chassis, the engine and the transmission are done and ready to become a rolling chassis. The body remains to be attended w...
