Re: '65 Coupe Resto-Mod and '68 Full Custom Restoration

It turns out, I had the right part all along, it was just made wrong. The arm on the bracket and the arm on the vent window are off by about 10 degrees from mating with each other. Once I re-bend the arm on the bracket so it is parallel with the arm on the vent window frame, I'm sure it will work. ...

Re: Alex. I'll Take "Is it Cold Enough for $200 Please"

Are you building a 4-5 car garage with a kitchen, bedroom and bath attached? LOL Even if I did it probably still wouldn't be enough room! :D My wife and I have been super busy planning some house stuff (hence my absence around here) but things are coming along. I can't help but hold out hope that I...

Re: Cleaning the firewall

Your firewall came out great, a huge improvement! You definitely tackled quite a bit of reconstruction. I (and several others on here) can appreciate just how much work it is to get this type of result. Nice work!

Re: Alex. I'll Take "Is it Cold Enough for $200 Please"

I'm happy to report our winter here in Maine has been pretty mild so far. After the last couple of winters where we got buried with snow I'm cool with it! Hope everyone's new year is going well so far. We're in full house-planning mode right now which, unfortunately, doesn't leave much time for the ...

Thanks awesome, congrats on the new addition! It looks great.

Any luck finding the replacement part for your window? Any chance you can fabricate one or go to a local fab shop and have it done for you?

Re: Progress on my 1972 restoration

Looks great! I've always thought the chassis work is the most satisfying part of the project. It's not overly frustrating or complicated, you can make a lot of progress pretty quick, and the results are really dramatic in terms of how much better it looks once the work is done. Keep up the good work...

Re: rear differential cross member bushings

Vette Brakes and Products sells them, but they don't come cheap. $160 each! Or maybe it's for the pair - it's not really clear. Either way it's a lot of money for a hunk of rubber. :willy: http://www.vbandp.com/auto-parts.html?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage-ask.tpl&product_id=526&categor...

Welcome to the forum! If you don't find a ready-made body dolly in the area they're actually pretty simple to make.
